SecretVault

Let's make storing electronic "secrets" secure and easy.

When requesting a new SecretVault file, the system creates an encrypted file using the provided password, which can then be uploaded to the site at any time.

However, it is important to note that SecretVault does not store anything!
It only allows opening, modifying, and then downloading it encrypted again.

The password unlocks the file, making the information inside editable and modifiable.

The information can be a list, simple text, or a file, the latter with certain limitations.

Important!

  • SecretVault files can exclusively be used on this website!
  • The data cannot be recovered in any way without knowing the password!
  • The data within the secret vault is stored only in the memory of the hosting server, and even there in an encrypted format!
  • The source code is not open, and there are no plans for it to be, precisely to keep the security of the files and the encryption method a secret!
  • The files can only be viewed through the system; they cannot be opened from any other source!
  • The system can only open the SecretVault file with the exact password. The password can contain any characters and is case-sensitive!
  • The certificate in the SecretVault file is valid for one year from the last download (opening is not enough; the saved file does not change). When the time expires, the file closes and cannot be opened!

To create a new SecretVault file, enter the password needed to open the file, then click the Download button.

The downloaded file can be edited by selecting it in the File load form and entering the password.

To load an existing or newly requested SecretVault file, select the file in the window that opens by clicking the Browse button, enter the password, and click the Load button to open.
